The Center would like more help for adolescents since there are limited resources for this high-risk group. Ancillary services of other hospital departments are used when needed for the benefit of the patient's health.

Enloe's inpatient program is comprised of a multidisciplinary team working with patients who are experiencing the debilitating effects of depression, anxiety, mood and thought disorders as well as psychosis. Our focal point is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment and skills training, which provides patients access to a better means of coping with problems outside the hospital. Components of this program include, but are not limited to: Skill building; Education, milieu groups; Process groups; Stress management and Therapeutic recreational activities.

Discharge planning, which begins at the time of admission, is focused on ensuring that the recovery process continues after discharge by connecting patients and their family members, if appropriate, to resources that specifically meet our patients' needs.

Most depression and other emotional illnesses are treatable, especially if dealt with early. In addition to improving one's outlook on life, therapy also helps individuals to better care for themselves and follow their primary care provider's directions, particularly with regards to taking medications. The fees for this program are the lowest in the state. They have 500 people enrolled with 350 people currently being served (multiple offenders sometimes drop out). However, there is no waiting list because the capacity expands according to need. The cost is $395.00 for a first offender level 1 (3 month program), $620.00 for a first offender level 2 (6 month program) and $1,150.00 for a multiple offender (18 month program). DUI schools are very tightly regulated, so they must follow procedure. There are a lot of referrals from the DMV, the court system, and treatment programs. Paul feels that there is a big need for detox in the community.
